We are looking for : a veterinary assistant
or equivalent training in the animal field (care, grooming...)
Having an easy contact with customers, loving and knowing animals, being polyvalent, active, motivated and able to ensure a responsible position (3/4 or full time).
You will take care of the well-being of the animals, you will take the dogs out to play, give medication when necessary, bathe the dogs, take care of animals that need extra attention, you will take care of the organization of the daily routine at Lassie.
You will also be responsible for the telephone reception of our clients, for the reservations of our boarders, for the reception of our clients and their pets, for the guided tours with new clients and for the explanation of the daily routine.
You must love dogs, cats, horses, birds and rodents, be naturally friendly and smiling with customers, have a good memory and a lot of patience, have great organizational skills, be able to work autonomously, be comfortable with basic computer tools, non-smoker and a correct presentation is essential.
As we have a very international clientele, you must be fluent in at least French; knowledge of several languages, especially English, is an asset.
Daily organization: a boarding for animals works 7 days a week, a monthly schedule is established: it informs about the distribution of the working time between the days of the week (weekends included). The work starts in the morning at 8.30 a.m., the dogs are eager to go out in the playground! The lunch break is from 12.30 to 15.00. From 15.00 to 19.30 you will be busy with the 2nd activity on the exercise areas with the dogs, welcoming clients during our opening hours, visits, 3rd activity with the dogs, dinner for the animals...
We offer full time or part time employment (working hours vary between 28 and 36 hours per week). The work is done within a small team in a growing company.
